AOA evryone. Been reading this forum for a long time esp seeing salman's contributions to this forum. Well I couldnt post anything as had some issues with logging into the app. Fortunately that's been solved.

I wanted a sincere advice from everyone here.
I booked the civic x in october 21. The order got changed to xi. Due to constant price hikes we couldnt fullfill the money gap. We could only pay 49 lacks yet . We were going to pay another 15 in 4 to 5 days but sadly to yesterdays news. I'm very disappointed. My father says we should wait for stability and economic crises shall end as elections are very near. After elections dollar will again gain stability and price will be lowered.

We currently have a toyota vitz 2004 import2014. We could sell it for about 17 lacks.condition is very good though.

After about 2 weeks most we shall get about 32 lacks i.A

1)Should we pay the full price to honda atlas if car prices are not going to come down in the future?
2)Buy Grande 2015/2016 or civic x 2016 and wait for economic crises to end. I.e wait for car prices to drop.
3)Cancel order and go for other options( even though im a die heart fan of civic xi)

Evryones time is really important but itll be a request to share your opinions.

Car Prices will never come down, pay full price to Honda get your Car.
The reason is that SBP has halved the CKD import quotas of all Companies to reduce dollar outflow, reduced production means Delays and higher profit Margin per car so the future is not looking good get ur car while u can although it may seem difficult but 6 monts from now u ll be happy.

I don't think prices are going to come down. Best case scenario is they remain stable where they are right now which honestly doesn't feel like happening too. If you have EDD of Aug/September, pay full price right away & lock that price at 74.

If it's later than September, & you're not willing to pay more than 8 million, then buy whatever car you can find right now or change your order to hrv (if you like it) with priority delivery. Top trim of HRV will be priced below civic RS for now but it'll definitely cost 7.5+ when it actually hits the market so don't expect to pay less.

Sir what's EED , Is it the delivery date? And my car is rs turbo. Wasn't it 68 rather than 74.

EDD - Expected Delivery Date.

If your EDD is of August or September & you've already paid full amount before 29th July then your RS will cost 66.50

If you've only made partial payment yet, you can pay remaining balance till Aug 15 & it'll cost you 74.

If your EDD is after September or you're unable to pay full till 15th, RS will cost you 8m.

Brother do not cancel your booking (you still have 7.2 lakh discount margin 73.8 vs 81 if you pay 25 Lakh before 13th August). Talk to your dealership according to funds availabilty, If you have EDD of Aug/Sep, You can sell your RS booking on premium or trade-in/exchange with Oriel. Dealership will happily do it. Car Prices will never go down, even if USD will go down (which is very hard to expect), Prices will only increase or remain stable.

Cancellation is the biggest mistake one can do unless he is absolute short on budget. Prices generally never come down. Even if they get stable, that would be a blessing. After 2 months of we don't see further increase ….new prices of all cars will feel normal. Na baqi sasti hain na ye sasti hai so its a simple yes or no decision

I'm considering to switch to oriel. Pay the remaining amount . (15 lacks) sell it for premium and get a used 2016 2017 a4 70000-80000 milage. Thoughts?

Buying a 5 year old used german car is never a good option.

that depends on your financial condition, If you need money and want to earn premium, it depends on your delivery date. Better to talk your dealership. buying a 5 years old Audi A4 vs New Model Civic RS. my vote is for Civic RS

As earlier mentioned I booked RS on full price, with delivery date of April 23. Should I pay the differential now or wait till Honda ask for it that will be probably in Jan 23. Want to avoid any further increase incase Honda give benefit to full paid orders just like they gave to aug and sept orders

U dont need to pay right now. There can be many changes by April. U will get no benefit even if u pay today

1) Elections are near is only an assumption
2) If IMF cancels the deal any day dollar will be above 300 in a month
3) Assuming 1 comes true care taker step and new govt settling ..all will take 9-10 months
4) Prices will never come down at best dollar will stop increasing and prices will become stable
5) Audi is a showpiece only ... will give you 1-2millon loss on selling .. Parts are ultra expensive and hard to find/Import
6) Buying Civic is an investment right now its like buying USD dollars which are rather hard to buy in this quantity from market

Its our government's and system's fault .. Our economy is in tatters ... why do you expect Honda to care about it .. they are a private company here to earn profits .. You are attacking the wrong entity ...Blaming dollar rise / local income gap on Honda .. Yes Blame government!

i've been to many countries, these days im in iraq 1 usd = 15,000 Iraqi dinar.
And a 2022 camry costs 55 lack here.
It's not just the govt man, its the companies too, they need to lower their profit per vehicle as well.
But they should they? jab log liye ja rahe hain, 30 lack for alto and it's selling like candies.
Don't book anything for 2 3 months, mar koi nae jaey ga, and see how things change.

true, just get another else, a city or whatever, oriel is pretty basic, rs is fine but the price isn't.
you want a new sedan buy something else, aesa nae hai k civic na le to mar jaey ga koi.
Generations don't matter in this country.
Ya to civic men aesa kuch hota which no one else offers then i would say, but it's pretty simple, so getting a yaris or city or whatever within 50 is fine.
if more then 50 i'd say a crossover is good.
i personally bought a sportage few months ago for my grande and have a low mileage civic x, i'm planning to change it if i find something worth it, warna zarurat he nae, is shoq ko dafna dena behtr hai ab, can use the money to invest in something else.
