nothings fair here buddy .. if it was fair then they wouldnt have discriminated pakistan auto market and give such a stripped out version and yet give full benefit to themselves by keeping its price same as overseas or even more .. they are giving almost zero benefit/favour to the consumer all they are doing is finding for more ways to increase there profit margin..

No they didnt guided properly. Honda centre rawalpindi puts customers into dilusions . If they had said they would increase delivery this much I would never had changed my order.

dukh honda ki price increase ka nae hai itna jitna logon ki soch pe hai and how they are defending it, for me personally i like the car but at 67.5 it was expensive, and i was thinking to switch to revo side,now for 1cr you can get a very good model revo aur a fortuner as well. You gotta be a die hard civic fan to buy it now, people here when spending more money look for bigger vehicles, it's a status symbol. Honda's profit got 29% down as per PW, corolla is very expensive too but it is worth the money still, cheaper than a oriel and offers more without having to wait for hideous delivery times as if you're buying a rolls.

Only people defending are the ones who bought it for around 6.5 to 7.3 million. These people are obviously giggling to themselves seeing it priced at 9 million plus in open market. They would be singing a very tune if they were to buy it now. Don't blame them honestly. Actually they made a very clever decision of buying it at on money 3 to 4 months back. Even the ones who paid like 1 million premium and bought it for around 7.5 million two to three months back are having the last laugh. For example I bought Corolla X SE in October last year and paid 2 lacs premium and 3.2 lacs for registration because the car was not invoiced on my name. My colleagues were laughing at me calling me insane because the car cost me 4.2 million after registration. Who's laughing now huh ?

Defending aside, how’s corolla value for money now. Many friends are waiting and waiting , no delivery on time plus heavy premium. Its equally painful to buy 8 yr old car for 6.3 million. Value for money thing is long gone bhai. We have yaris and city hovering around 5 million

Bhai in the last 1 yr all people who paid own got lucky. Lets hope dollar stabilizes now atleast. Today a source in hyundai said they will be increasing again after seeing others

you see city is old gen as well, not new, old woman new shoes, the delivers are now delayed as Toyota mentioned the issue, otherwise they have always been on point and yea yaris and city are the new corolla & civic now sadly.
But grande is quite versatile, I owned the vehicle for a looong time mainly cause it took me places where my civic x couldn't, low height of civic has always been an issue for people with villages or not very developed areas. I used it as a suv with trunk full of ata,sugar bla bla from my village and 5 people on board and it would never scrape and never compromise on ride quality. Plus seating postions is very good for aged people, easy in easy out. Is mulk men generations koi nae dekhta sadly. These are the factors why corolla has always single handedly outdone civic & city sales since years, and you'll see this trend will continue.

very true now if you have to pay 90 something a civic i think mostly people will change the vehicle category to a used fortuner or a revo, or a crossover cause they are more versatile vehicles.
i bought a sportage FWD and got delivered in march for 55. Got really lucky. Didn't pay own as well.
honestly had no idea things would flare up this much.

Grande has been my love for a long time. I kept it for 3.5 yrs which the the longest tenure to keep a car for me so far. Till civic launch, grande deliveries were taking more time than civic. I only have 1 issue that imc kept giving us new bumpers on same body and its been years now. Still i kept it till new civic but 6.3m for Grande is even more painful to me now.
