It's always been a trend in pakwheels forums that Toyota fanboys will be excusing toyotas for the same things they'll be ragging on Hondas for. Another funny thing I see is that Toyota fanboys are always on honda forums defending their love, but barely any honda fanboys even bother going to the Toyota threads. Pretty obvious who's more jealous of who.
Toyotas are definitely the most overpriced cars in the market now. Revo and fortuner are a complete joke and only Yaris can be considered value for money compared to its competition. Anyone who buys a fortuner for 16million is an even bigger moron than anyone who buys a civic for 10million.
And corolla reliability and off-road capability is very overrated. My dad regularly took his 2013 civic to villages and it's suspension went bad at 220k Kms. In comparison my 2010 corollas suspension was gone after 150k Kms and with very few instances of rural driving. The civic overall has been way more reliable than the corolla, both with similar total mileages. I've compared corolla x and civic X ground clearance directly, due to the cheap bodykit corolla is now lower. Corolla even bottoms out pretty easily now. And grande x isn't even comfortable like how corollas used to be due to hard seats. So it even lost the one advantage it used to have over civics while still being much more boring to drive.
