At one point, they will have to reduce it further. Not sure by how much but still it seems to me there is significant buffer. This is considering dollar falls below 200. Ideally to 190.
Simply because once those ON cars are sold to buyers and unavailable in market, that’s when the music stops and they will actually find out how many people are left willing to buy.
Remember, these are economies of scale car models. Not low number hyper cars.
If they cannot keep/achieve that certain economy of scale threshold, they will be forced to increase prices.
That’s like saving one foot and shooting yourself in the other foot.
