Some friends are reacting exactly the way company wanted them to.

They have given peanuts to awam
Their new pricing will allow investors to redefine a proper premium
Its a simple good cop bad cop game
All companies will bring us back to 15 % from 20-22_-% increase

Car were not being booked when proces were increased, not they are booked today? What’s the real benefit:) total investors ko chalarhay hain and people are starting to feel happy now. Once stock is down from investors wohi again book kerwa lain gay.

Bhai there are no bookings so there is non action taken by awam. They are clearing their investors backlog. They have played beautifully and now all will follow indus plan. If they did open bookings, whats the use of discount bhai. They must take orders else people will keep paying premium and investors will be 2x more confident now

Price is a big concern and should come down after the rupee strengthening. but the main issue here is the deliveries and production.

as long as the delivery period doesn't come under 3-4 months, the ON/OWN/investor mafia has all the hold over it.

Strongly agree. I have driven 8K KMs so far and they have started making noise. Other than that, they are performing well.

Investors are definitely feeling the heat. Market is totally dead. I put my boss's new fortuner for sale on pakwheels 2 days ago and even featured it and have only gotten 3 calls, 1 was another investor just checking if I'm getting any feedback cause he isn't. My boss got the fortuner for 10.6 million and drove his friends fortuner before delivery and realised it's a horrible car for even 10.6 million and bought a sonata 2.5 for 8.35 million from an investor. Toyota Ravi have been trying to sell this car for whatever the market price is for 3 months now and haven't gotten a single buyer yet.

Plus booking in this current situation for a genuine buyer will be probably the stupidest decision ever. So investors will be enjoying a lot in a couple months when new car production totally dries up if the import situation doesn't clear up.

Generals are just horrible tyres, I used to be one of the general supporters too until I got some half decent tyres. The change is absolutely shocking. I only used to support generals to justify my own cheapness, but the thing is imported tyres are at insane prices right now. Yokohamas for city 185/65r15 size now are more expensive than Yokohamas I got for an accord last year, 225/45r17 I think was the size. With tyres approaching such insane prices most people will just stick with generals. Most new cars I see now just keep on being on generals unless they came with better tyres from the factory. I actually see more new honda cities on imported tyres compared to honda civics, even 1-2 year old civic X's probably cause how civic tyres are twice the price of city tyres.

I think in the future many cars coming with imported tyres will contract generals to make their sizes to lower production costs, like how Elantra got shifted to generals from kumho.

General tires become unbearable after 20k kms. They are literally loud not noisy.

I drove an Alto that had Kabuli Dunlop tires installed and that car was driving like cream even at 100 whereas my Alto on General tires drives bad after just 8k kms of use.

I think people have stopped booking cars as everyone hopping for ruppe appreciation until it comes below 200... people waiting for another price decline by the companies....

Suzukis peanut : for example swift top of the line pehly 20% incrase ki price 660000. Ab inki 14% bn rhi 460000 only decrased 6% even though ruppee came from 250 - 210

I think overall situation will not improve if delivery period and price is reduced . I.e price by at least 10 % and delivery within 6 months max.

People are now tired of uncertainty and holding back . This would continue till March as overall supply chain and LC issues are not settled yet.

Still investors are at loss since now market is very slow if you have holding power then its fine...

Sir perfect..thats what i said. I m happy to change evry 10k kms and i will still save than any imported one. Considering noise is the only issue that comes after 15-20k. I'm happy to change at 10k to brandnew ones

General has many brands as well. BG luxo is hell noisy vs thundermax. Tycoon is utter shit. I can happily share Db values sometime soon...

The moment they become noisy i can put fresh ones
