Having this problem since September and as per company they don’t have the part available right now and that they might get parts by December.

Honda should be ashamed as at 1st they delivered cars with steering issues and now they don’t have availability of parts to replace the defective ones….what is the point of spending about 7 million when you cannot take that car on a long route as that steering locks, all you can do is drive slowly around the town.

In continuation to my steering issue in fact it started couple of months back now became prominent. With every passing day it’s getting more stiff n feels locked to left n needs a more force to unlock than we normally in a position use to be. Btw in last civic where I got it changed in feb this year n is run by up to 15k, that’s absolutely fine n it didn’t happen again n in that case I got it replaced twice, one in 2018 n then in 2022 n this changed unit which lasted for almost 3 years, it wasn’t this severe as is this time. One person here who mentioned this that in early deliveries old racks were probably used, I don’t think so. It’s the new part with more increased gravity.

True, this 11th gen is more problematic than 10th gen. Never had this locking issue in any of my 10th gen Civic and As per Honda steering rack part number of 11th and 10th gen are different.

Honda has steering gate worldwide now... It making sound but its not stucking like X so far. issue is pretty different.

Filhaal bachaa hua hun------ car is now 5000 driven. so far all good Alhamdulillah. Steering may never make any sound in the future or may start sometime sooner or later. So far, 3-5k kms per issue agya hai jis ko aya hai, but it's very different vs X.

I think the Variable ratio has hit Honda. Class-leading but ....but but

Just wondering, has anyone here attempted to change the head unit on their 11th gen? Audio quality must be cr*p with the android unit.

I think its the speakers .... only 4 door speakers/components .... all local..... changing the components might make a difference.

I am supposed to make the pending balance payment for my RS tomorrow with revised EDD of 30th December. No which color among these two would you buy: White RS or Lunar Silver RS.
I am struggling to find a Lunar Silver RS and go see it for myself!

Agreed, speakers will definitely make a difference. But for a serious upgrade, HU will become a bottleneck. Based on the
construction of the base model infotainment for US-spec Civic (linked below), I'm just curious if the Pioneer ZS9350BT or ZF9350BT would be able to fit

9350 F is not fitting properly, very bad fitting. The OEM unit is no good either even if someone spends 3-4 lac on it. The 7 inch is total useless. International reviews are so-so. We have to wait for the pioneer, otherwise best option is to add DSP to the existing android and the results are superb. We have already DSP done on oriel and of course, speakers were changed. Stock speakers are better than X by miles but mids are absolutely lost. Planning to upgrade with DSP and amplifier.

dealerships are accepting warranty. From Mid December, parts will be available. it's an issue that exists in all regions ion certain units.

I have seen both colors in person, to me the white RS looks more awesome.

Go for Silver. White looks panda in RS due to contrasting black and white colours.
