The world doesn't revolve around Pakistani car market. It's a general practice worldwide that PKDM manufacturers have caught on to in their race to cost cutting.

OEM tyres are worse in every metric especially for economy car segments. They are mostly put on just for you to drive off of dealership when you buy your car.

Want a "great" tyre? Buy it after market. Korean putting on Kumhos from factory automatically dont make it better.

Check with Sonata owners.

Bhai in the current lineups, all cars are obsolete other than Civic.Quality is very decent as i have kept X twice, both RS and oriel. Value for money is least of buyers concern in Pakistan as we buy expensive and sell accordingly. Govt impose stupid taxes as well. When other companies are selling me 6-8 yr old featureless cars, Civic becomes the the ultimate choice.Drive dynamics, design and finishing is perfect. Honda warranty is very supportive, parts and after sales are easy and quick. No one in the world is satisfied after all. Ebay is selling android units for 11th gen as US people want androids. They don't have rear AC, SI doesn't even have fog lights. Regions/variants do vary. My only and only regret is 2 airbags but then others offer the same and even offers poor engines as well. other than airbags, i never found any issues. Economic situation is bad and taxes are illogical as well, so why blame industry 24/7. Once companies bring quality products, people can chose what they want.

It's just a car, if one doesn't like he can always switch

Yes on all forums, most people are changing tyres/ rims etc. No body is happy with OEM stuff and that's once own choice... premium is everywhere, and there is no ready availability in much bigger markets., calls it market adjustment.

RS or Oriel or whatever Civic XI is not a success. production cuts hv come much later. check just on Pakwheels, around 500 cars for sale and u hardly see any on roads. it was only booked by opportunists and not real buyers n now investors are stuck.

Cost cutting practices are understandable but putting an unsafe product to save costs? This does not happen anywhere.
The tires that come in PKDM Koreans must be present in other countries as well, yes world doesnt revolve around Pakistani market so there is no way Kumho or Pirelli made a special low cost tire for Pakistani korean cars.
And this logic of Factory tires being put in just to drive off of dealership is purely comical.

+1 i hardly see a new gen civic all week here in islamabad, people are selling all versions on invoice price now. I always tell people judge the car by the sales and see what the road has to say, this forum is a joke, you'll find 3 4 baised ancient pakwheels defend this crap at any cost.

Pata nahi kin logon ko 11th gen nazar nahi aati...i live in Islamabad and every day every time i go out i see lot of new civic both RS and oriel....even my dealership told me that due to this import restrictions abhi ye car kam nazar arahi hai warna bohat orders thay...kuch delay ki waja sey cancel ho gaye aur kuch 1 saal ka time dekh k book nahi kara rahay....phr bhi in islamabad many many new civics i see on road and honestly it is the best car in its catagory among its competitor....jis ko nahi pasand ya itni burayion kerni hai tu wo banda is forum per apna time waste kyun ker raha hai.....i dont even open the forum of that car on pakwheel jo mujhey pasand hi nahi ya leni hi nahi....but i can see here some guys just came in this forum ta k civic ko bura keh sakay....lol

Bhai feelings don't change facts. Sit down with 2-3 sonata owners at most and let us know.

As for having a hard time believing, specifically for Koreans, please do a Google search on Hyundai/Kia cars recalls for the last 20 years, and you’ll find out tyres are the least of problems here.

Not everything that glitters and has a big fat brand name pasted on it is gold. Do research on it if you’re that interested.

Pirelli that comes here on Sonata is not suitable for local conditions. Road and weather both.

exactly, old invoice cars are selling over 75lac, no delay even in current bad economic situation. One can see in good numbers......Meray to office main 7 cars hain lol..pata nhn kis ki nazar ka issue hai. I dont live in DHA, and ca still see on roads in good numbers

Waqas bhai har jaga hai, On road civic is more than all new product launches in this year . X7 is also is good numbers.Its expensive, so definitely cannot be mass selling in current condition but it's good enough. HRV even can be seen now easily almost every other day in Lahore

Dear i live and drive daily in ISB.

Lately , i see increased number of civic XI and even RS presence is increasing. Within car market, void left by Corolla is benefitting Civic XI

Exactly 11 Gen can easily be spotted in Islamabad I see them daily. Im talking about the main islamabad F6 to F11 . I roam around these areas and i see then both Oriel and Rs daily. Infact at times i see a few RS back to back. I dont know ap ko kyun nazar nahi ati Islamabad mai. I also visit peshawar on weekends and i see more oriels in peshawar than islamabad!!

try and stay away from after market tune ups. civic is not a sports car. Atlas doesnt have a reputation of delivering totally reliable cars with usually local assembly faults like bad steering in reborn and civic X as recent known issues.

its better to keep the car in warranty without any such modifications. besides there is a limitation with the XI gear box that is why engine output has been restricted to safe limit of 127 hp. try and stay within the safe limits set and recommended by honda.

civic will stay a civic, cant become a lamborghini.
