These tunes are not just flukes sir. Ktuner /hondata doesnt even void warranty. There is is no issue with these. Not all cars offers these things and that’s why u mag be calling them unsafe. These are not done by some mechanic, these are tested and finalized after lot of research. Cars engine ecu and all parts are imported and are not made in Pakistan. The best part is there is no warranty issue and one can revert to whenever needed in 5 mins. Also the ecu support is there otherwise u cant use 3 tunes on a car. Dyno is further performed for the same reason

Mcvt supports 195 nm torque with 2.0 liter engine so 15nm margin is always available at minimum. Same RS tranny in accord produces 260nm minimum (ll cvt). Japanese are way ahead and maintain uniformity in engines. All in all, warranty doesn get void. Cvt will normally fail after 350nm of torque.. these are worlds most reliable cvts after-all, time tested. Safe limits are recommended and wrong tuneups are of-course not recommended. Only passenger segment engines are bh honda offering this much to consumer

Bhai i still suggest to keep the car as is. why do something when we are not suppose to race any way on public roads. besides sedans are not designed for racing as well.

besides i think running a tune would require more aggressive maintenance schedule as mentioned in the car manual. no one follows it.

anyways owners can decide better wat they want for their cars.

Your suggestions are valid for corollas and revo etc which people aggressively tune without research.
Ktuners design their tunes with research, its not something they just throw in there. And the tunes and switchable to stock tune any time you want in under 30 seconds, you can switch them simultaneously as required. And no it does not require extra maintenance the tunes are designed in a very safe way for the cars. Ktunner/Hondata are doing this from ages its not something new for them!!

Cvt's are not reliable.
I agree with @Thinking about the maintenance period. Increase in power will effect the longevity of a component sooner or later.
We are talking about the car which is fresh and yet to take the beating of time.
Tunes are actually just few more % of fuel and timing with some boost, or even just changes in the torque figures of cvt. In total It is not difficult to get some extra buns from factory boosted engine.

Jab bhi mai ye forum kholta hu all i see is a civic hater ranting on how the new civic is not value to money/stripped down etc to bhai mere jab ap aik 9 year old obsolete shape corolla ke liye 6 million bhar skte hu to why not 7/8 million for a newer generation of civic that has ton lot of features/shape/grip/handling all better then the current competitors

Yes i do agree some features must have been added like the rear usb ports/auto seat adjustment and more airbags but this is pakistan
Not even a single car is value to money here
Specially not corolla all they do is change bumpers/rims and carry that old generation for more 2-3 years

But nonetheless im not a die hard fan of any car but keeping in mind the current situation of dollar/global inflation it is best to buy used maintained cars

Sir i think you need to get your information right
There a ton of civic that are running sohndless safe and secure from the day it was tuned
Ktuner and hondata are well known tuners of honda civic and they also know the max limits to which the carr should be pushed

Civic’s 1.5 turbo has a lot of capability to withstand tuned and aftermarket performance upgrades

Totally agree with you brother about the longevity of components but the only thing that will cause problem is the cvt
Some people take the car upto 250whp and still not install an intercooler and cvt cooler and then eventually one of two things says

That’s true some people do that. But I was talking about the Mild tuning done by Max power with 25-35 hp gain on oriel xi which according to them is very safe and requires no extra maintenance. But a brother over here started claiming that its a civic not a Lamborghini. So

I have friends which have drive. 130k by now and they drive high rev. Cvt is sensitive but only if its from jatco. If someone pushes 300whp on a cvt, ofcourse it can blast and we have cases as well but for normal safe ranges , there is nothing to worry. Warranty is there as well. Also, i disagree that every car can offer something. Most passenger segment cars cant get anything other than an air filter. Its all about doing the right tune within safe limits. My mileage haven’t even dropped unless I drive like crazy someday which I rarely would do or probably never do

Of course it cannot be a racing car but it can still be great fun to drive car from a passenger segment with best in class economy and enough punch when one wants to push. I know some people dont like cvt but now worh simulated shifts and great power delivery, cvts are fun to drive

Hassan bhai i think 2/100 failure rate ho ga cvt issues ka in Hondas and interestingly that too on extremely high torque values else rock solid these are. Ktuner is not a lucky charm for all cars so even in a tech scarce country like Pakistan, atleast there is something for middle class to play with as far as engine is concerned

Corolla better not support as its not that stable by design.. its just not planted so i like corolla as it is. Not all people like to push but there comes a time when just overtaking brings a smile so not bad to have power but ofcourse drive sensibly as these are not racing cars.98% civics from 2016 turbos can be found with original engines and transmission and i bet close to 50-60% are tuned … malaysian thais, us .. ktuners sell crazy
