AOA everyone please guide me on which car I should get
I’ll be upgrading from X oriel facelift
Either I can get a X rs or 11 gen oriel

I’ll be tuning the car in future (21 psi etc)
I also currently have a oriel XI but it remains out of station all the time so aik tarah ha hi nai

Im a youngster so I like that the car pushes me in my seats which I believe oriel 11 gen lacks

I recently switched from 11th Gen oriel to X rs for precisely the same reason, “pushing”. 11th gen is a nice everyday family car with a comfortable drive and an excellent fuel economy but lacks compared to RS X if you park them on sides specially with lights on .

If push is the reason, hands down go for X rs.

As far as I have seen the acceleration pf the new oriel it is same or slower then my oriel 1.8
Mine oriel did 0-100 somewhere around 8.5/9
And I have not seen any video of the new oriel doing it in this time

How did u launch it? Did u launch it at D tap the pedal in steps till max pedal and put it in S when near 5k rpm?

All turbo charged cars require hard pressing on the pedal. Experienced with my 17 turbo, this RS and previous 11th Gen. I can be wrong, senior pakwheelers can better comment on this, but I find 11th gen better than oriels i kept, easily keeps ahead of MGs etc.

X oriel was slower than Grande, and take lead later on. Newer is far better in power delivery.

I will now not debate here over which one was quicker
But as far as I had runs with my oriel I smoked grande’s from standstill

Could be. I bought 1.8 oriel in 2021 after selling Grande, and my TurboRS, it was a very poor decision for me.
