Yehi baat samaj nahi aa rahi logon ko idher aik saal se. Not a single country can claim their top trim Civic (whether its Touring or RS trim) has all features compared to the top trims of other countries. For instance, there is no ambient lighting, front camera, rear AC vents in top US spec Touring trim. US Touring doesn't even have plastic covers on trunk hinges. Nor does it have exposed exhaust tips. They have cut little things here and there in US too. For example in Canada, Touring gets heated steering wheel. Top spec US doesn't.

No other country's Civic got slower compared to the previous one, that medal goes to Pakistan only

Malaysia has the most feature rich Civic. Almost has everything (including the keycard which is incorrectly being claimed as not available) except the useless sunroof. PKDM Civic is stripped to the bone. The only major feature it has is Honda Sensing (which every other region also offers).

Also, the 1.5 RS isn't even the top trim of Civic that Malaysia has, it's the 2.0L Hybrid one.

Globally 11th is slower than X in 0-100 bhai. Its the body weight. On rolling 11Th is faster everywhere.

11th responds better on tunes though.. minor improvements… as it’s basically 10th gen accord engine

Malaysian hev came way later.
Regular RS has single zone ac btw
Keycard is only in hev
Heated mirrrors are also only in hev

Usdm doesnt have trunk damper

Rear ac is non existent

The only feature that I wish it had were parking sensors and maybe active blind spot monitor. I would give up the sun roof for these two, since i dont ever use the sun roof for anything.
For frills, the better entirely digital meter, but thats just for fun, not utility.

As for features, UK Civic has a configurator service and one can add/ remove most features mentioned above.

Heated mirrors rarely get used in Pakistan anyway and aren't a deal breaker in any way, imo!

From my perspective, I would have loved it if the car came with electric seats and a proper infotainment system rather than a cheap Android copy. Parking sensors should have been a must at this price point. other than that, the car seems like a good package for PKDM.

The engine in Pakistan is detuned for no reason. 180bhp in Malaysia and more torque vs 174 in Pakistan. As per their website, RS has key card.

Dyno says other wise. Its putting down 155 hp at the wheels stock. Detuned hoti to roll on pe bhi X RS se slow hoti.

I think they have changed CVT programming a bit to make it more conservative in off the line to reduce CVT stress and people are confusing it with detune.

I don't know about the dyno figures but the stated power figures by Honda Atlas are lower than what you'll find on international 11th gen civics.

I am well aware of the written numbers. A detuned car that has more weight should not be faster that a lighter car with no detune, right? But practically XI RS is either quicker or just as fast on a roll. The dyno numbers I am referring to are from Max Power’s dyno unit.

Why are you comparing it on a roll? Compare it like it's supposed to. From a stand still start, the 10th gen will have a car's length lead over the 11th gen. Internationally they increased the power figures along with the weight to compensate.

Do you have a certified grand prix track or drag strip here where I can compare? Passing performance on highway is equally important if not more. Off the line acceleration of a car is important too. But 100 ke bad jannat mil jati hai that whatever happens after 100 is immaterial? Either the stated power number by Atlas in brochure are wrong, or we are getting an older version (X version) of L15B7, with revised programming applied to the transmission only.

120 is the maximum speed limit of any road in Pakistan. Anything beyond that is immaterial and only to share on Instagram. In real life usage, 0-60, 0-100, 20-60 are more meaningful. I'm only stating what Atlas has mentioned, and the figures they've mentioned are lower than international variants.

This is you can say 9th gen rebirth part 2, as it was also 1hp less in power from reborn and the design was a carry over in a sort of toned down way .. but it wasn,t that lacking and that overpriced… i was checking the civic xi top spec of turkey and it had turanza tires plus 180 hp .. but the thing is honda atlas will still give this inferior spec so no point of debating.

Again, you are sharing website stats that I already know. If we are talking about real life then passing/overtaking performance is actually more useful. Unless you do 0-100 after every signal. Based on Torque numbers, it is exactly the same as X RS. Either is not the revised L15B7, or marketing numbers are incorrect. Stock dyno numbers are good and inline with 173/176 hp claim. A crude way to check is if its single scroll or twin scroll turbo as I remember reading earlier, older L15B7 in 10th gen were single scroll and newer versions are twin scroll. I'll try and find the link and share here.

Newer CVT is programmed that way to be less aggressive off the line from a stand still in favour of longevity and passing performance. This behaviour is not just in Pakistan but world over. That's why its impacting 0-100 times and reviewers praising its passing torque.
