Elantra is good very good but compares well to X Oriel or Grande as all these cars are old gen. In performance, Elantra beats stock oriel 1.5 in start .. on rolling civic wins…but once tuned oriel get huge improvements. RS is quicker in any map.. the 1.5T in sports mode does give good push in the seat. Elantra being a 2.0 gets good start but the advantage gets outshined once turbo spools.. another reason i dont consider a fair comparison is the handling performance.. civic is way better in grip over elantra.. i have found a lowered corolla performing better than Elantra ( lowered equal to Elantra).
If one has 7 million budget, elantra is the car to buy .. but that’s it…. Its on its max . U cant do anything other than wrapping hood to make it look cooler.. period
