Yes. I have grilled the dealership a lot on this. But they too are helpless beyond a certain point. Delivery dates revised for everyone online on Honda’s website also.

When I booked last year the original delivery time quoted was April 2023, then they changed it to May 2023 (which obviously has already passed) and just now changed to October 2023. Clowns of the highest order.

Not sure what the practice globally is but atleast the price should be locked in case of such delays. Excitement aur charm tau khatam hota e hai itne wait se and then the weekly price hikes further add insult to injury.

If price increases then yes it will be applied. This is what I grilled them on. To at least offer a price lock. Dealership expects further cancellations IF there is a price increase.

But they are not taking balance payment as of yet..it will only be confirmed at time of full payment..

BTW can we change colour of the car at balance payment time ?

Initially I had booked x which got changed to oriel xi , at the launch of the civic in March , I changed it to rs which delayed/changed the dod to Jan 23. Due to economic crisis it was once again delayed to March 23. However I got the car in Jan 2023 after 15 months of wait.
