the steering rack issue is still there and you will also have to change the tires which are cheap ones which dont offer good ride quality. check sonata instead.

Actually I can only go with max 1800cc as my company will pay the cost. And can't think of grande, toyota might introduce new version in an year or two.

If your companies paying for it & you can get the RS then get an RS in black. If everything's handled by the company then just get it through them

But if you have the liberty to book it yourself from dealership of your choice you'll be surprised the extra goodies these guys are giving just to get one more sale

Sales are extremely low for civic and dealers start salivating at any potential customer , ask around and try to get a good deal , when you inquire about the car and they tell you the basic price , payorder procedure etc you can just say "I can get this at this price from almost anywhere , what extra can you offer me" and then tell them you'll think about it , by evening 2 ,3 people from sales team would be messaging you .

Do this with 2 ,3 dealerships in your city and choose wherever you are getting the best deal

grande literally has the same as civic.
10 year old car with a chinese body kit for 7 million.

and bland looksm yyou gotta be kiding.
Civic 10th gen was overproduced and over kill and over produced in design.

11th gen has better loos, comfort and drive then booth grande and civic 10th gen.

and talk about power.

Grande was beaten by 10th gen Oriel.

11th gen is turbocharged even.the 11th gen Oriel is faster.

Has anyone on here experienced trouble with the trim pieces around the side windows? In particular the rear window quarter piece (triangle)? Every time I close the rear doors, there's a terrible rattle noise that comes from that section on both doors.

It honestly feels like that whole piece is gonna fall off. It's been bothering me for a while. Gonna make a short clip to share it. Dunno if it's something I need to get rectified from the dealership or simply do it at home. Would be a good diy

I've noticed this wind noise issue being more prominent in the rear of the cabin. This issue was present in the X too.

This calls for a full interior sound deadening and treatment

My car has wind noise issue on the driver side but its only minor and barely noticeable. But it is there.

Yes its very annoying , especially when I'm travelling with driver and music is off
Overall build quality of this gen is pathetic ,my rear seat makes squeeking noise on bumps and rough patches got it fixed from dealership twice it comes back after sometime.

only reason I still have it as a 3rd car I just love the way the car looks lol, Plus waiting for elentra hybrid

Build quality wise its a lot better than previous Civics, especially Civic X. Its also better than current plastic infested elantra and 10 year old Grande in terms of materials and quality. But that's subjective.

Plastic infested elantra my god lol have u driven that car.. new civic has still quality issues.. but elantra is not that bad

Civic still has quality issues I agree. But then every car does. Civic in future will also have quality issues. So will future Elantras and Corollas. What's your point? And yes, before I bought XI RS, I spent considerable time in Elantra and Corollas.

grande has better build and plastic quality then civic xi dont agree? just see the door plastic and door sill area of both.. civic looks cheaper and substandard plastic as well as rubber installation on door. plus the steering rack fault is plaguing civic since last 8 years so not on the same level only looks or shashka wise its more overrated by individuals.

Yes, Elantra and Corolla are cross shopped by people looking for S class and Bentleys.
FYI speaking of parts "quality" i have seen quite a few Elantras with partially faded/off DRLs. Also, I don't buy cars on shashkas.

Unless someone has a habit of touching door sils everytime, I believe overall the quality of materials used in dashboard, trims, seats, steering, basically everywhere you touch is better than its 10 year old competitors.

PW forums have become total garbage in last few years. You know this when you have people justifying Corolla (a car model launched globally in 2014) and Elantra (a car model launched globally in 2015) and justify their purchase decision based on quality of door sils. More power to you sir.
