o start, it has a comfortable driving position and is surprisingly easy to drive, even though the seating is low. It’s very quick off the line, and the steering feels excellent. The boot is high, which minimizes glare from traffic below—something I was initially concerned about, given the absence of an auto-dimming mirror. The steering is exceptional, and the speedometer is high-resolution, leaving no room for complaints.
However, the stock speakers are subpar, and a slight rattle from the engine can be heard at low speeds when it kicks in, especially compared to the Corolla Cross. While in EV mode, the artificial sound is noticeable and something I would prefer to have turned off.
