I know it will not be a fair comparison but I can share my experience of a 660cc turbo charged engine of my tiny 4x4 JDM Nissan Kix. Had imported 4.5 grade with 61,000 mileage in 2016 and ma sha Allah still going strong now @126,000km. Obviously 66cc engine, kerb weight 985KG can't be fast but it's doing what I have had expected from it.
From the very first day under the hood is very hot because of the turbo, but, this has no impact on the cabin. AC works very well and radiator fan kicks in always when the ECU requires. In the start, I tried hioctane but found no added benefit, so switched to normal fuel and still the turbo is working fine. I take good care of the vehicle and have kept it stock.
So, I can't believe Honda blaming local fuel or this is normal for the fan to run continuously.
