100% agreed. I was recently in a 20 model 60k driven civic X and the quality was shockingly bad. Insane amount of squeaks and rattles, worse than multiple decade old 200k+ driven rent a car corollas I've been in. Interior plastics were on suzuki level with a few cracks and were completely faded out. The car even seemed reasonably maintained, but obviously no amount of maintenance would help the recycled garbage can plastics. Felt like a Chinese copy of a civic honestly. Local civic is literally just selling on the brand name, nothing else.
If the 5.5m rumors are true and as usual atlas doesn't improve the quality, it would definitely be by far the worst value for money local car.
