@rizwan400, bro as u have the sales manual, can u share the complete specs of Altis 1.6 and Altis 18 grande? What i really want to know if the cluster, steering controls, airbag, navigation and leather interior comes standard in altis 1.6. And will it be auto or manual?

I personally think if xli is being launched at 16.2 lacs then the new city would cost about 25-50k less than xli for the base model and city aspire is gonna be at around 17.2 lacs for the manual tranny. Much better potion than xli and gli

What options do we have in 16 to 18 lac budget ?
We don't even get 2010 /11 model imported corolla axio in this price bracket ( which is a old shape now )
Talking about sedans here , even belta 2011 / 2012 imported costs around 14 to 15 lac
Old shape prius costs around 18 lacs for 2011 model
Insight also falls in this price range but still old 2010 or max 2011 model with at least 50 k plus kms on the odo
And Honda civic hybrid
And then brandnew city which is already 6 year old shape now
Many ppl who were against 9th gen civic and liked reborn 8th gen civic eventually fell in love with 9th gen including me and then upgraded to 9th gen , so we have to move on
Comparing it with 10th gen corolla or current city doesn't really make sense
At this price other than new corolla
Can we get the following in any other car ?
Durability
Reliability
Tension free trouble free car for at least 3 to 4 years
Best resale even after 5 years plus
A better looking car
A big car even bigger than premio and Civic
Ample legroom , headroom
Spacious cabin and comfortable seats
Excellent road clearance for any where in pakistan
Huge trunk space
yes I agree the car will be sluggish n slow , will give a bad mileage if we floor it
but if we use it for daily routine use ( going from point A to B ) and don't expect some sporty performance or hybrid type saving from it
it is indeed a good and durable car for daily use on our bad roads and harsh driving conditions

If the prices shared here are really the final official prices
Then xli , Gli and Gli AT all are good options
Altis is a good car , pricing it reasonably below civic is a good step too but still I would never go for it when the same shape is available for almost 6.5 lac rupees lesser ! In that price range 23 plus we all know which car is the best option

We get immobiliser, passenger side airbags, automatic windows, ABS, Climate control what not in other cars!
Again you're talking like a typical Pakistani, about its better shape, resale value etc!
I already said we Pakistani's only want a good looking car with better resale thats it, so we even can't blame IMC for that as we don't even care about other features!

I think we should not be too happy by this price list as Advance tax will be added in price which is 75000/- for tax payers/ filers and 150,000/- for non filers...

That tax is valid for every car not IMC cars alone. So makes all cars equally pricier

I'm a Toyota person and agree with you but some how the market has slightly changed I believe city and corolla don't compete each other at all but this time something's different if you goto search used cars section a 2009-2010 city and corolla can be found for same amount of money. Some cases cities are more pricier. Probably because of heavy fuel consumption and being more stolen

Altis 1.6 will be available after Gli and Xli launch. As you already know its an Altis so more or less its match with Altis 1.8 base model, like meter, seats etc. It has a 7" resistive touch screen player with Navigation.
In fact this manual not talk about much for 1.6L. Its talk generically about Altis.
