The car is definitely good at this price
What options do we have in 16 to 18 lac budget ?
We don't even get 2010 /11 model imported corolla axio in this price bracket ( which is a old shape now )
Talking about sedans here , even belta 2011 / 2012 imported costs around 14 to 15 lac
Old shape prius costs around 18 lacs for 2011 model
Insight also falls in this price range but still old 2010 or max 2011 model with at least 50 k plus kms on the odo
And Honda civic hybrid
And then brandnew city which is already 6 year old shape now
Many ppl who were against 9th gen civic and liked reborn 8th gen civic eventually fell in love with 9th gen including me and then upgraded to 9th gen , so we have to move on
Comparing it with 10th gen corolla or current city doesn't really make sense
At this price other than new corolla
Can we get the following in any other car ?
Durability
Reliability
Tension free trouble free car for at least 3 to 4 years
Best resale even after 5 years plus
A better looking car
A big car even bigger than premio and Civic
Ample legroom , headroom
Spacious cabin and comfortable seats
Excellent road clearance for any where in pakistan
Huge trunk space
yes I agree the car will be sluggish n slow , will give a bad mileage if we floor it
but if we use it for daily routine use ( going from point A to B ) and don't expect some sporty performance or hybrid type saving from it
it is indeed a good and durable car for daily use on our bad roads and harsh driving conditions

If the prices shared here are really the final official prices
Then xli , Gli and Gli AT all are good options
Altis is a good car , pricing it reasonably below civic is a good step too but still I would never go for it when the same shape is available for almost 6.5 lac rupees lesser ! In that price range 23 plus we all know which car is the best option

Getting the car insured solves the immobilizer problem. I will get the car insured even if its equipped with an immobilizer, would not want to risk my hard earned 2.5 million.

Btw, sorry for my ignorance, does the flappy paddle gear works with manual transmission as well?

Well Xli auto and Gli auto 1.3 will be hot cakes.Altis or Altis Grande will be a total loss.I am having the 2010 version altis top of the line and this variant gives a loss of about 2-3 lac.So i am no way near Altis, Xli or Gli all the way
