Sir how much u r getting with new civic I have corolla and it gives me 13 within city and above 16 on highway with all time ac on honda engineers must be better but nit incase of civic pkdm if u r talking about city then I m sorry because it doesn't fall under sedan catagory its a mid size sedan

just went to Toyota motors islamabad as I'm interested in grande version,they said the car would be on display on 22 and booking will start from 22 onwards. because they haven't finalised the tax thing.

Some info from Toyota Defense (Karachi).

-All new Corolla will be at display on Monday 21, July.

-Booking for 1.8 Altis and Grande to start also from Monday.

-Booking for 1.3 Xli and 1.3 Gli to start in August.

-A 1.6 AT will also be offered. Booking for this 1.6 Altis AT will also start in August (appx price around 20 Lacks)

Tax collection at the time of booking:

-1.3 lit Filer 30k, non-filer 40k

-1.6 lit Filer 50k, non-filer 100k

-1.8 lit Filer 75k, non-filer 150k

Sorry to interrupt, but @shk_54 , its useless to talk to brainwashed toyota fans.
All they want to say is city is a mid-sized sedan so it doesn't deserve to be compared to corolla!

The WH tax is to be paid on everycar, even on the 2.5M Civic and the 47 lack Fortuner even on the Mehran. So whats the big deal, All cars get equally expensive. Even the used cars have to pay WH tax at the time of transfer/Registration

The official (Toyota company) booking will open for Altis 1.8 and Grande variants only. Booking for other variants (i.e. xli, gli) means dealership is doing their own dealership booking. They will take pay-order from buyers and keep it untill official booking starts (in August) when they could issue you a proper booking/tracking number.

Please make sure the dealer don't wash your brad new cars with low quality shampoo and dry it with dirty cloth and make swirls on a brand new car even before you get your keys. saw these pictures on Facebook so sharing.. Now here i do not want to start a honda/toyota war but giving and honest opiniun.I had a toyota corolla 2.0.d saloon from 2005-2008, first it was fun to and excitment but just after 3 months, it was just to move from point A to point B.No excitment and the engine noise in cabin.When travelling on motor way i could not listen to my music when the volume was at 15.Sold that car after 3 years although it was very good in fuel consumption.Then in 2009 we bought Corolla altis 1.8 top of the line, in the start it was awesome to drive and enjoyed its driving but soon after 3 or 4 months my level of attraction to it decreased and now i drive it as a normal car and its heavy on fuel.But then certainly i had to go to islamabad last year as there was a wedding at my cousins in laws.My cousin had buy a New civic 2013 and as he was busy in the arrangements, so basically i was driving his civic and used it for three days and believe me from that period till now i am a fan of Civic and now i know why people go for civic.My next pay order or demand draft will be made in the name of honda Atlas.And second and most important point is of resale i think if a civic is properly maintained i can get u a good profit.While corolla mein tou bas xli ya Gli aur garhi kai sath har waqt aik banda mojood kai kahin chori na ho jai.Kasam sai Raat ki neend tak haram ho jaati hai, because this car is stolen from garages.
