Zabardast then hardly 5 to 10 % of potential buyers will go for Altis
Rest will simply opt for civic
After some time and after a bad response they will bring xli and gli
And I don't think it's a good step
Those who want a new car now will go for city brandnew even city auto in this way they are further loosing profit
Not only be low sales of altis
But no sales of xli Gli at all

So the Altis 1.6 AT is a rebaded GLi AT 1.6 thats great, Seems to be the best buy.

Im guessing 16'' Alloys, Climate control and a feature or two would be coming in Altis grande in sometime, Probably a year or two,
@rizwan400 rizwan bhae, Your Corolla in particular was lucky to have the auto adjustable rear view mirror, They are still not offering that even in the grande.

Thing is corolla is not sold on the basis of gadgets and security most of the peopme who buy corolla is on the basis of fuel economy and better resale value which unfortunately civic doesn't have so millions of unit will be sold every year so chill apna khon kiun jalaty ho bhaio

Regarding airbags people dont have habit of wearing seat belts if we they put 6 airbags in corolla still people will not wear seat belts there for most of corolla users dont even care about airbag things

I agree because i have booked my gli through bank n they said car will b there on showrums on 22july so those who are sYing that no xli n gli for 1 more month then they are telling lie.. Bcz either my bank is telling lie or the dealers

better fuel economy lolz, honda engines are always more fuel efficient than corolla and its a fact
Corolla sells more because it is equally liked by urban and rural population..
Many ppl dont wear seat belts within city but on highway they do so saftey first.. one airbag is not enough when the competitor already has two..

Altis Grande has infotainment nav system and leather package too @ 23
VTi oriel prosmatec with navigation system and leather package costs almost 25
So there's a difference of 2 lacs
This grande also has a few features that civic lacks so I think they have priced it reasonably
And where it should always be BELOW Civic !

Yar to b honest ppl buy corolla bcz it has better shocks suspension n is more comfortable on jumpy roads civic runs n looks good only on roads like islamabad so no offense n i didnt knew that civic has better fuel consumption bcz 13km/l sy zaida civic ni krti ppl who on it say 11 n 12 km/l within city thats max n i dnt have to mention the fuel efficiency of corolla bcz everyone knows n do consider the fact that corolla has larger body shell than civic still civic cant beat that shame..

Sir how much u r getting with new civic I have corolla and it gives me 13 within city and above 16 on highway with all time ac on honda engineers must be better but nit incase of civic pkdm if u r talking about city then I m sorry because it doesn't fall under sedan catagory its a mid size sedan

Altis 1.6 will be available after Gli and Xli launch. As you already know its an Altis so more or less its match with Altis 1.8 base model, like meter, seats etc.....

I think Altis 1.6 AT will have sweep spot in the line up even if it will not have CVTi

After watching pics and comments/features of Grande, it not seems to me that it effect Civic sale cause civic interior still having much elegance looks luxury wise an exterior too.

...why should the front passenger suffer. ? screw other things saftey is first.
I've been saved by the front passenger airbag I know it's importance.

"Altis" must have immobilizer. Grande deserves the dual air bags + better interior.

What is the difference between the traditional cvt and the 7 speed cvt-i which is intoduced in new corolla? My understanding about cvt is it has infinite gears...anyone pls clarify. Thanks

just went to Toyota motors islamabad as I'm interested in grande version,they said the car would be on display on 22 and booking will start from 22 onwards. because they haven't finalised the tax thing.

The Civic's advantage is; it doesnt come in 1.6million; its got exclusive shape for 1.8L. You dont have to tell your friends and cousins; look how many badges I have got on my car's trunk

Corolla' will always be Abba Ji ki guddi....or puri family ki guddi; you know what i mean !

it has 7 controled Ratios, Just like the steermatic City, just that it has paddles, City had buttons.
