Cvti has weird smooth acceleration feeling and there is also a delay of a second in D mode while none in manual mode.
Also grande has 7speed manual mode while cvti version has 4speed model in manual

Massively wrong observation! Drive the car extensively to know more about it, NEVER EVER post without having an actual idea. Both variants have 7 speed manual mode. The car will only allow you to upshift and downshift once its in the driveable RPM range of a gear. You cannot downshift to 3rd gear at 150kph and you can't upshift to 7th gear at 60kph.

And there is NO lag in D mode, manual mode operates with the transmission locked to a single ratio so the rpm climbs faster while in D mode, the ratio continuously varies (Continuously variable, remember?). Manual mode is nonetheless more responsive though.

Today got quotation for 195/65/15 yokohama advan db, manufacturing date 23 week 2013 for 9000rs each tyre with warranty card. Is it worth buy? Manufacturing date ziyada purani nai? I mean 2 year old tyre

NO. I got September 2014 tyres in december for 8300 rs a piece. Rawalpindi.

So my advice to all those who r planning to get altis 1.6...... plz go for cvt 1.8...... there is no differencre between old gli 1.6 and new altis 1.6. Both have same engine and same gearbox.... reach a bit deeper in ur pockets and get 1.8 cvt..... u will enjoy it till the next model comes in...... paddle shifter's are rubbish.... they only allow u to shift gears after crossing 3000rpm....and getting ur car do 3000 rpm in 1st gear is cruel..... after all this 1.8 altis is a routine domestic sedan .... and not a formula one..... sunroof is OK to have but our environment doest suit it except for a few months in a year.... Toyota leatherite seats have average stitching job.... the entertainment system is some that u can't ask for any more at the moment... it does all the things for u that u need to but sound system is below average.... back seat folding is also a useless feature.... a lot of roof lights which we may never use..... so best choice for me still remains to be altis 1.8 cvt cruiseTronic although I got grande but feel that extra features are not much of a use...... would have preferred immobilzer and climate control instead of above features

In Karachi the filler non filler thing get settles at the time of booking with a separate check.

It does not have any effect on Registration Fee.

GLi 1.3 AT, 5 passengers on board and trunk full of luggage till top, car was barely 1000 km back then, and on the pathetic 20w50 oil IMC puts in.

My neighbour booked grande in jan n got may as tentative delivery month..suddenly he changed his mind n said i cant wait for so long n canceled the order n got reborn the very next day..this waiting time is forcing ppl to go for other options..

Yes, I've given 5 lac advance and August is given as delivery month. But there is a remote chance that I may get the car in May (If the dealer gets additional quota). That's why I've given 5 lac and 13 lac separately. If the delivery is in August then I have to pay revised amount?

Must be a long wait time in Lahore, but in Karachi it isn't this long at all - within two months, you get your Corolla 1.6, 1.8, and Grande. I booked mine recently and will get it in May, InshaAllah.
