Even with dual VVTi, the 1.6L Corolla is not giving a good fuel average because of old ECT gear box. The 1.3L and 1.8L are giving better fuel averages. Specially the average of Grande is too good for 1.8L car due to the latest CVTi transmission. In my opinion, you should go for the basic model of 1.8. If you do not have a budget, go for 1.3L. Don't waste for money going for 1.6L. It has the poor resale as well.

My Altis 1.6 is driven only 1600+ kms and it's average has increased from 11 to 12.5-13 kms/lit with full on AC, idling and being driven in congested bumber-to-bumper traffic all the time. I am sure it will improve further after i put fully synthetic oil on 5,000 kms.

The cherry on top is that there is no load felt with AC, while in case of 1.3 you do feel engine needing more power when you switch on AC.

checked with two toyota dealers in Lahore today. GLI 1.3 "Manual & Auto" delivery timings are around 4-5 months and the ON is still 150k. Plus not even a tiny change is coming anytime soon they say.

i have 2013 gli 1.6...it is 40k driven and it has poor average..local.10k motorway 12...

Very nice so basically in a push start car we need to press brake before push start button is active as a basic n safety start in auto variants,is it the same case in ur modification. Can u share the price kit type and make type details.

Yes you are saying right, same procedure. If by any chance your gear lever is in D,R or any where except in P then push start wont start the car. For pricing and availability please contact @rizwan400. He is living in lahore

No average is wonderful
My car just 992 km. Onlong I found 16 km/ l and accurate. As I full tank and then topped up method.
