first of all i wanna tell you that every single person will tell you his own liking means the oil he is using.and there numer 20w 50 etc
there are alot of companies in karachi means variety as it the hub of pakistan and first all things lands over there correct me if i am not wrong.
it totally depends on you and your peace of mind.
1)both local and imported are good .
some are using total , shell havoline
zic kixx liqui moly etc
As you have 9 gen civic which i am not wrong you have sold it.
you have been changing oil from honda 3s shops which are really using total oil 5w 30.
so i think local total is good if asked from honda fans and shell also as some quoted cars running fine till 200k plus
now come to imported
all are good if purchased from genuine dealer
as you will hear some will say go for liqui moly valvoline zic kixx.
now personally coming to some one will say
oh you have a 20 lakh plus car and going for cheap oil the local one
go for imported one yar the are good.
say to him total shell are also international just have their blending plants over here making producing and selling over here so it dosent mean imported one so superior or inferior.
one thing my brother keep in mind dont listen to anybody saying intervals more than 5000km
the 7000 or 10000km are not suitable for our dusty roads and engines.
if i were in your place i would go for total 5w 30 or 10w 40 both are synthetic oils or imported then zic a+
dont worry about heat of karachi as the above mentioned are also written in user manual the number i have written.
intervals are 5000 km.
the more you will ask the more you will get confused.
just make up your mind.this is my personnel opinion.
now its totally your choice .
