Finaley wait is over my altis 1.6 dispatch today from Karachi for Lahore hope fully arrive in two or three days.I am very excited .first thing to do changing tyres i decide to go for yokohama adv db v551(195/65/r15) plz suggest me best tyre dealer in Lahore i m from johar town .other thing what r the thing to check before taking delivery.

How long it took in total? And what was delivery month on ppo?

Aoa. Bhaiyo i just bought a gli manual. ODO is just above 1000km right now. I have a question, whenever i drive back home i can smell a light burning scent coming from the engine. Is it normal for a new car? I don't redline though i have a heavy foot so maybe the rpm reaches 4-5 but not more than that. Should i get it checked from the Toyota dealership?

Yes it comes for a couple of weeks and it's normal

Went for a drive with 6 person on board for about 50km ( 4 on back and 2 on front ) on altis 1.6. Believe me car respond so well, never a sec delay. Acceleation was so good with 6 person in the car. Never feel that car is struggling for speed. Some times i need to watch my speed not to exceed above 100/hr as drive was so smooth. Car feels very soft on bumps and pitholes even with stock eruo star tyres.

Worth of spending extra 125k. To be honest Altis 1.6 has a very joyful drive.

Any plans of changing eurostars.. I don't know but am not comfortable with them.. They are a bit heavy and bouncy on bumpy roads..
I had these on my 2006 Gli as well.. I installed them after upgrading my steel rims with 15 inch alloys..
Wasn't satisfied at all..
I know people argue that they last longer, up till 80,000 as well but I think General guys have put more rubber(guddi) on these tires to make them more durable, so that they can last longer on our rough roads..
Anyways would like to have your and others intake on that..

I got late sir.. My car has already done around 6000km . Now these eurostars will not fetch some good amount. I went to change Tyres when my car was new and hardly 200km driven but i didn't find some fresh stock of yokohama adven db 551 then i got lazy and time passed away till it is now too late to get a good deal.

I changed eurostars tyre on my civic in 2013 when my car was only driven 100km and it was sold around 19k. I wanted to do the same but unfortunately i got late. I suggest you to change your tyre to yokohama adven db 551 made in japan if you want to have more comfort drive.

AOA Fellow Members! Finally We got the car of our dream! Please do say Masha'Allah

this is our car being washed at the dealer before being delivered to us!! (Saturday)

unfortunately we didnt get the car on Saturday as we wanted to get Sat-Nav and keyless entry installed from the dealer which they couldnt installed on time and office were getting closed!

On sunday afternoon! we left for showroom again! this time my sweet mother also came with me n dad! she couldnt control her excitement as this is our biggest car after a long long time! my father drove the car out of showroom towards the home!

we also got a car top cover as a complementary gift from dealer (Black Color)

Loving the audio system its superb!!!! ride quality is awesome and unable to explain! everything about this car is flawless!

the above pics is da system we installed from Toyota dealers! user friendly n under our range(first sat-nav car of our family) including maps, stylus and remote!

in future we plan to fit mudguards and fog lamps!

we will not remove the plastic covers n stickers as I am waiting for my brother(living abroad) to come this Dec for Vacations!
only 15km on ODO till now! Hope everyone likes the pictures!
