Super White is reserved for Altis variants only, not for GLIs n XLIs. No facelift is being introduced in near future for the fact that IMC is already earning huge profits on current model. Just a glimpse that their profit after tax figures for June 2014 were 3.9 Billion Rupees, which increased to a whopping 9.1 Billion Rupees in June 2015, an increase of 133%

The only downside of getting a corolla other than price offcourse is, i will be getting 2015 model instead of 2016. I need the car within max two months, so i can get 2016 City or 2015 Corolla.

Which one should i go for. Would corolla be worth the increased price of 2.25 lacs with old model.

Seems you are more concerned about the quantitative aspects (Control Price, Registration, Insurance etc), than the Qualitative aspects.

Compare Qualitative aspects of both variants to make a well informed decision:

Corolla GLI has more comfortable suspension than City
Corolla GLI is more durable in long run than City
Corolla GLI has more attractive exterior than City
Corolla GLI offers better resale value than City

Keep these things in mind as well before finalizing your decision.

Sir @nido747, Thanks a lot for sparing your valuable time to post this pic. I am attaching pics of the cover which I bought and my Altis 1.6's ECU. The cover seems of standard size but the grip wiring of ECU has been stretched away from ECU a bit, that's why cover doesn't fit in well:

Nevertheless, I will better return this cover and buy one from Toyota dealership and ask them to fix it, on 1000 KMs inspection.

Brother as far as I remember, dealerships doesn't offer these ECU covers anymore, according to the sales manger, Indus company has prohibited it.

I will get it confirmed on 1K inspection, so far, some of the members have been able to get it from selected dealerships. I read that in past posts of this forum. Let's see what my dealership has to say.

At 1000 kms first service dealership guy asked me to purchase it from them in 500 rupees but I preferred to save my precious amount for fuels .. seriously someone told me it is useless

Oh I did not knew about the worth if my car .. Thank you for informing .. by the way did you read somewhere the effect of installing this cover as it blocks the heat generated by ECO .. so if there is a doubt leave it out .. cheers

Bhai, it protects your ECU from water and dust. Nevertheless, that means you are good to go without using it

Yes, I have also heard that the cover may cause over-heating of ECU. I feel it may only be used if one wants to wash the engine with water, isn't it?
