1300 CC Sedan shaped being discontinued

As per universal policy minimum displacement capacity for sedan shaped cars will be 1500cc. Accordingly Both Indus and Honda are phasing out XLis, GLIs and City. Perhaps one of the main indicators is slowing down of booking/delivery process of both variants. City 1300cc delivery time is 8 to 10 months.

Indus will introduce some hatch back type in 1300cc - just like Vitz while some Altis type 1500cc will be introduced. This will be implemented in next 18 months to get people attuned to new setup.

Honda will discontinue 1.3L city and will continue with Aspire 1.5L.

Too the writer. Please do your research.
Care to elaborate the install policy that dictates the sedans to be 1500cc plus. Don't pull numbers from thin air.
Sedans are manufactured in 1000cc displacement also. So please don't just write something because you want to

Gli of Toyota is just like Honda cg 125 of Honda Atlas .will never get discontinued

I heard this from authorised dealer at Islamabad. Also read it in several newspapers and in Pakwheels blog as well.

There is no such "universal policy"
No discontinuation of 1.3 Corolla anytime soon.
Check the sales and production numbers for 1.3 variants - there is NO slowdown.

The word is “might “not “are”. These are just rumours . They will introduce new models but they have no plans to discontinue gli .no company is that stupid to let go of its golden goose and the one that is selling so well.

I doubt Toyota will do what you think. I think Toyota will never go into hatchback cars.

Well I heard the same from my uncle who knows a guy in a dealership. He said over the next year Toyota will/may get rid of 1300cc corolla and introduce another car with a 1.3l engine. We will have to wait and see but hopefully we will get some new cars in the market.
