15 Lac budget for Honda City Automatic 2011 to 2015 model

Hey guys,

So i've finally decided to lease 2nd hand car from Dubai Islamic bank and my budget is 15Lac, tops!
I don't wanna buy a manual city, but here on Pakwheels i see very few Automatic cities under 15Lac budget.

Followings are my requirement:
1-Driven less than 1lac km.
2-White or Silver Color.
3-Should be neat and clean
4-Should give 14+km/liter mileage

So i just need some suggestions guys.

There's are two 2011 Model City 1.3 Prosmatic cars that i've liked, and both are asking 14.5+

So should i go for one of them?
Or there's this option 2010, silver 1,10,000 driven, price 13.80lac.

Also what's the difference between 1.5 Aspire and 1.3 - is 1.5 Aspire considered good in the market? What mileage it gives?

If you are from a city like Lahore and reside densly populated area than 1.3 Prosmetc will not give you more than 10-11 kmpl average. But if you live in areas and drop be mostly in areas where you can maintain a speed of 60-80 and not much breaking than 1.3 PT will give you better mileage.

Don't know about 1.5 PT but I have 1.5 MT Aspire and in Lahore it gives me 12.5 kmpl with AC as I like in densely populated area 14kmpl without AC. On long route if you drive at speed 80-100 it gives 17kmpl but at speed 120 it gives 15-15.5

1.3 prosmatic is a highly underpowered car, avoid it if economy is your main concern.

I've changed my mind, instead of buying an old 2012/13 city which doesn't even have air bag. I've decided to buy the New Mira ES 2017/2018 - Almost brand new. The prices have boomed now-a-days, even a good vitz will cost 17lac, and Aqua is coming in 21/22 lac.

So MIRA ES G Version, almost brand new in 15lac is what i'm thinking to buy right now. I'm actually in love with the design <3

So what do you guys think? An old City or a new Mira ES ?

depends on what you want....if pick is not a problem for you.....mira is also good option....

I dont think its a comparison cuz one is a sedan and one is not. Trunk space is quite handy to say the least.

Having said that if your in love with Mira why do you care what others think. Nai cheez nai hoti hai good luck bro. Just make sure auction sheet is verifiable warna patta nahin kitni accidented ho. Good luck

I got a city m/t 1.3 2010 model and had a budget comparable to yours. I tried many cars but ended up with city 1.3 M/T because of various reasons but following are the ones I can recall
- Japanese cars 660-1000 cc u step on the gas/accelerator and wait for the next day for the car to attain some speed
With the city I have, it wants go and hv u pushed into your seat if u press the pedal too hard
- I’m from a small city and parts availability and mechanics is not a problem for a manual 1.3 but for a Japani if here u have a problem with it then u better have a second car to do ur chores in cause that one is moving for At least a week or two
-mileage with my car is decent, I’m satisfied and it all depends on the way u drive, the way I handle it, I get 11.4 to the liter now but that can get better if it’s serviced a little
- auto cars are comfortable but shifting on a manual becomes second nature with time and practice
-given the current situation, prices of new cars are going up, inflation is on the rise so those selling their cars want a higher price so getting one that u wish to have is going to be a very long wait and u will face a lot of uncertainty. My opinion in this situation is to go out into the market try what u like and get it before the prices sky rocket in the next year

I actually bought Suzuki Swift 1.3 Automatic 2016-A model in 13,80,000/-
And personally i'm not VERY happy. I've driven Sedan from start and the suspension, drive and sitting position of sedan cars are far better than a hatchback, so it will take time to adjust.

The fuel consumption is fine, its giving me 11Km/L in winter right now. The acceleration is impressive! I just don't like its hard suspension but the rest is fine.

Will probably sell it after a year and will maybe buy a sedan.

The suspension is softer than the city... i don't know why you find it hard, maybe the car you bought needs to have it suspension checked and the tires too
