it is a rare car and a true collectors item,.. don't forget, "a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it",.. so maybe there is a collector out there who thinks that 15 lacks is a bargain for it.

This looks like a nice car which could be made sparkling with a little effort. I hope the owner is flexible on the price as the car needs to find a good home and in my opinion is not really worth 15 lacs.....though I agree with Storm that the owner could ask any price and that, "a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it". There arent many 220 S from that era left in Pakistan. I know one with Presidential history in pristine condition, low mileage and original waiting for a buyer for over 10 years....last time I heard, the asking price was about the same as this one.....or is it the same one, I wonder. It used to be black though.

^ Yup i also have seen a similar Mercedes in black color and in mint condition standing at showroom from many months... the showroom is Infront of Laleez Tailor (a Tailor in a Banglow)?

I've also seen the same model near my area... A guy named 'Saad'(The guy with a convertible merc in the VCCCP show - Zia-ul-Haq's merc that was as i remember) is restoring it since a year or so.

Hey Guys .. chill out ... this is a MB 219 series butt what engine does it have under the hood .. it was also produced in desiel and 5 different types of petrol engines
It was also produced as a coupe .. Gen Zia's car was totally different .. I have had a chance to ride in it personally during his years .... I have a lot of parts for this car on sale lying in my garage .. also new ones in boxes !!!

Some people do get excited at a car butt the grapes are sour is the excuse !
