I have my doubts on the authenticity of the "seller"...because...
a) It's a Pontiac, not a Ford.
b) It's a Firebird, not a GT.
c) It's a 1968 model, not a 1978 model.

this yellow firbird is belong to my friend Kashif Khan , he also have a 66 yellow convertible camaro, a 64 two door impala SS with 409 engine and some other american cars and yes nothing is for sale

Thank you for having put up with this thread in the 4x4 segment, brothers.

Now that both cars are up and running, I think it'd be more useful for people who're about to undertake a similar project, if this could be moved to the DIY section. Could you please do me a favour and shift it over there, and rename it "1965 and 1967 Impala Rebuilds"?

One last addition to the '67 Impala has been the addition of disc brakes at the front. I'd tried using the drum brakes on the vehicle, but found out that the drums were over-heating rapidly. This problem is probably due to the desi brake leathers that we used in them. At any rate, I found the brake spongy, ineffectual and irritating, more than anything else.

As a result, the Black now has beautiful, big disc brakes (from a Chevy Caprice), instead. I was much disinclined to make this change, initially. After driving it, though, I'm glad I took the plunge!

The Projects have turned out great, the black one turned out much better then i expected it to be :), at initial stage i thought of it as a Rice factory but now its just mind blowing. Sending link to my bother as he really will Droll over the work done here.

Those are really kind words, brother.

We tried to keep a very minimalist approach with the Black. Something tasteful, but something just a little removed from stock, at the same time. The wheels, the tyres, the chrome trim, and the upholstery are all efforts in that regard. I'm glad it meets with the general approval of most nearly everyone.

SIr ge i am looking forward to get my Fiat 600 car repainted..ANd by the looks of our chevys their paintjo is fantabulous..Can you guide me to paint workshop?? also the paint is clear-coat one?

are you from isd ? I think I've seen This black beauty in isd standing at a work shop where lots of other classic cars and jeeps were waiting for there turn to be rebuilt
