you would need two torque wrenches, one that can detect as low as 7lb/ft which is about finger tight - such wrenches have an upper limit of 15 lb/ft.
For the next stage you would need a wrench that can slip at 23 lb/ft.
For graphite paste - you need the real thing or you can also use genuine runny CV joint grease - or even make a paste in pinch, take a tablespoon of powder graphite and mix some oil in it <-- cheapest.
When rebuilding buy a set of taps and dies so you can clean out all the threads of the engine, even nuts and bolts - it ensures proper clamping pressure is applied.
