I am sure there are many good 'karigars' around. As long as they know their stuff beetles are not much different from other cars..you may have to take the fenders off to apply a coat in the area and paint the fenders up side down on old tires or hang from something to get to the areas that would not be reachable if the fenders were attached to the car etc etc. but the surface preperation and finishing is no different.

look around for some good painters - the best in the business is near Khudadad Colony - (burney something) but very snooty - there are quite a bunch where the split window is being built - and there are also some near Lyari - (corrrupted bunch but their work is amazing)
