While I am traveling, the Vintage National Solid State AM (SW/MW) ISO Radio has reached home after being fixed by Ustaad Mazhaar. While I have collected two radio antenna's from here in PSWR for Patina. Bug Antennas are hard to find and the next available option is Corolla 82's fender mounted antenna (Thanks to @shakeel for tipping me on this one), normally known as KALAM WALA Antenna. The ones I have bought are Corolla 82 pieces but they will fit like a sleeve. Pictures to follow when I am back, for now, here is the fixed National Solid State Radio, as received:

Vintage VWs didnt come with a cassette player. even the radio was an option. as for the later model bugs , maybe the feature was introduced in the 80s models...

i also think the 80s was when it happened, because as far as i know even the 1303LS didn't have a factory cassette player up till 1974 (the last year i've researched on the 1303)
