Very Good investment for the compression gauge and tools... appreciate you tagged the price..

Its another good investment to have the box sockets for wheel hub removal, of your own as on drum brakes of volkswagens, one quite often needs to remove the hubs and work on the brakes and everytime taking the bug to the half baked mechanics isn't really fun:

Cost for 27mm Box Socket: Rs. 320/-
Cost for 36mm Box Socket: Rs. 370/-
Cost for L-Type Tommy: Rs. 1,000/-

beware when applying gorilla torque to this tommy bar, King tools is not a high quality tool name, I have experienced it breaking under heavy stress, the sockets would work - they are impact type.

For loosening the hub nut with this socket combo, you should have bought a 2ft breaker bar. Another way is to buy an old axle from a FWD car and get the socket welded to it,

Adapter plates can be fabricated too and thats what was the original plan only if these tyres weren't too big but unfotunately the size is too big to mount and drive the bug with these 7.00x16s. 6.00x15s however would be perfect fit and I am on to hunting them. I hope I would be able to find the size somehow somwhere.

However, if the set of adapters you have is FS. I would buy the set off instead of going through the hassle of fabricating one.

I brought a pair of adaptors from the US which would be right for this task. You are welcome to borrow them to use as templates. I have to find them first as they seem to be buried in the pile of boxes right now.

these sockets and L rod is of 1 inch drive ? i also buy such L rod few days before

to refinish the door cards either wait for Multan Summer or get some water on boil and spritz the vinyl with it along with some plastic moisturizer to make them supple again.

if the inner plastic moisture barrier were in place, these cars would still be like new. But for some reason our interior guys put plastic over the cards instead of under it.
