please add that as these parts would be really old - even the shipping oil in them would have gelled up by now, install new zerks and remove the boot, pump fresh grease till you see unadulterated grease flow out, wipe it down completely and install the boot back, install on car and pump till the boot is just firm.
I would suggest a good GC-LB rated grease like mobil XHP etc. Same grease for use in bearings. btw - if you can - buy NTN, SKF, timken or F.A.G. branded tapered bearings for the front wheels. All my experiences with tapered bearings with the name nachi on them were horrible. Even with the best grease they would cause problems.
