1969 A7 SUA Mazda 'Luce' UB Series 1500

I'm also collecting parts for my two 1971 and 1972 1500 estates. But I haven't managed to get lucky in finding NOS parts, so I have to be satisfied with better used parts.
But I'm searching for part numbers, and cross reference parts from other models, to make my search more easy!
BTW: I'm living in western Norway in Scandinavia

here are front and rear brakes mazda luce 1500 part nos. references from parts catalog that i had with me at the moment. i hope this helps some. will have better scans once my copies arrive

This thread brought back lots of memories, every year Dad use to buy a new car and the old one was given to me. Mazda 1500, 1970 was the first car (New) which he gave me.

i have been thinking to put mine on some, right from the start but went with longchamps for now

you've the early 1800 bonnet with the centre scoop. the later ones had one large and two tiny scoops, one of them a mock scoop while the other to give room to the carb

what exactly you are working on, on this '72. it looks pretty solid to me

finally a thai friend has found me a NOS rear license plate light, the only thing that was missing on the car when it was picked up. more power to hobby friends

Xulfiqar bhai can you tell me about the Contact info or whereabouts of Perfect Motors? It might help a lot of enthusiast as well as that "a bit stupid" person

perfect motors is a retail shop selling spare parts, the only problem is that the "sole" person owning it is a bit stupid. He has trust issues. This makes the situation a bit interesting to handle.

he has about 12 go downs full of parts with poor documentation. This means that he has to scour all of them to find your part - and this may take weeks or months even, But he will find that part if its there. If you are employing other people to hunt for your parts, im sure they must have touched base with him.

BAM, they are 14", 4x120 SSR XR4 LongChamps! Jackpot!!!

the above wheel is now this wheel - being worked on. buffing/polishing wasn't working (some curb rash and couple of deep battle scars) so had to opt for tool polish instead.

this wheel still has to go through atleast 3 more stages before its fully restored. though its a tedious and a precision job, hopefully i will be done with the SSR XR4 longchamps set by week end, more or less

I am not so much into Mazda though but I remember one of my uncle use to have this Mazda long time ago and we always use to praise its suspension as compare to other jap cars of that ERA .

have been out hunting more NOS parts for the resto today. was a very tiring day, but wasn't without bearing fruits for all the hunt. i found a couple of very important bits that were desperately needed for this kind of resto where majority of NOS parts have been put on the car being restored

NOS rear right bumper corner - mine was out of shape due to some hit that the car took while in possession of the PO as you can see in the tail shot. desperately needed it to go with the NOS rear bumper bar that has already been sourced and got it. would be using the LHS corner from the car with NOS center bar and this NOS RHS corner to make a perfect set

NOS boot lid "MAZDA" emblems x2 and rear panel "MAZDA 1500" emblems x2

NOS STANLEY brand sealed beams x3

NOS KOITO brand sealed beams x2

brand new thai made felt channel brushes x4

brand new thai made door seal (on body) - front/rear (inner door seal) enough to do all 4 doors
