in contrast to our friends in europe and elsewhere who fight hard to hunt down tiny bits to keep giugiaro / bertone legacy on road, we bask in plenty of NOS bits as of now, this time from malaysia
just picked up a NOS set of A6 hubcaps with a consideration that i might opt out of SSR XR4 longchamps someday and go with factory wheels for a change of taste. if i ever get bored of the longchamps, that is
yes, you read right, A6, not A7. i always liked the A6 hubcaps more than the A7 ones, merely because they are more classy as they cover/blanket the contours of the factory wheels exactly. unlike the A7 hubcaps
here is a look of three beat A7 hubcaps that came with the car in the boot, only one of them was useable, the other two had broken tabs that hold the hubcaps in place on the wheels

and now the NOS A6 set that was picked up today in malaysia

as expected, have some shelf scars and a slight patch or two of surface rust but will buff right out under a microfiber cloth and some polish
lets see how the A6 ones look with white walls. this is one of my favourite luce, just see how elegant the stance is on this old baby. its mildly but tastefully lowered
