hey guys...
the other day, a friend told me that he have some pix of a very old car rally which passed through Sargodha. actually his father was assigned the job of making entries of the cars in Sargodha.he handed over the pix to me.i think its 1976.u can see some celica's corollas and mazdas there.one car even had women drivers (LET 3000).

Since i have the pix scanned now, i thought it wud be very selfish to not share them with my fellow automobile enthusiasts. So here are the pix... i hope some senior members would know something about it.

thanx guys... and yes! certainly these car (or any cars, atleast in sargodha :)) wud be head turners. i mean just consider having a brand new celica today, sounds gud na? in those days, wud be really really great.

guys, were there any convertible celicas back then? cuz that 777 HCG regt celica looks like it has a black soft top on it.look closely.

those wud ve been really gud old days.my father remembers that first corolla, when introduced in Pakistan was for 14000rs or so.it was 1967 probably. He was a school boy and rarely got to see a corolla (unlike today when u pick up a stone frm ground and find a corolla:P) Dad bought his first car in 1985, a brand new suzuki FX, for 42000rs ... today, registering a mehran costs that much
