This is by no means a race car because it wasn't my intentions to build one.
I’d be surprise if this car ever sees a track day ever.
Automatic with overdrive is more then capable of handling any street shindigs.

I mainly wanted to build a nice cruiser with bit of muscles,
And with open roads/freeways Automatic is far better
choice then a manual one in my opinion.

Riding/driving a fast car is no big deal by any stretch of imagination.

Sir im planning to start a similar project so wanted to know iv been hearing tht since parts of markII 74 r difficult to get, axels and suspension can be used of another vehicle tht i forgot da name about, since u have it u might rem do u?
And since i plan for a 4age silver top, wht abt the brakes? Some1 was recommending a specific disk with little holes, any info abt tht?

Most of the answers you seek have been discussed in this thread.

4age is an outstanding engine but in my opinion its little under powered
for this kinda car if infact you are going with MarkII.
Expect to custom make everything as nothing is a direct bolt on this car.(H)

Those rotors with holes are called cross drilled rotors and in my opinion
its a nice upgrade but you'll hardly notice a difference with that alone.

Which fuel efficient petrol engine do u recommend for MKII? (other then 2JZ [:)])
i am planning to swap some good petrol engine in my MKII. fed up of the noise and vibration of diesel engine.. what do u think about 3S?
