So we have a rare 1983 LandCruiser with factory AC, diesel. 3B Engine. The thing is a monster and I have seen quite a few but not many 1983 models especially with factory AC.
It developed an engine fault 4 years ago and has been sitting since. We finally decided to stick with the original engine rather than go for a swap. Changed all the Pistons and sleeves and camshaft and numerous other parts and had the entire engine rebuilt.
Still waiting for it to be fully connected and will be doing the first restart today, pretty exciting.
All that is left is to add power steering (any advice appreciated), new seats for the driver and passenger as they are uncomfortable (advice?), and transmission possibly changing out later on?
It is also a 24 Volt system, the lights are not so bright, any idea how to go about making the lighting better?
