Mehmood From Islamabad I am planning to buy 1990 Pajero 5 door as a family car i just want to know from you guys that is it good for me How much diesel it consumes in 1Litter, After how long the engine oil, Gear Oil and Differential Oil need to change and which oil should i use. and what about 4x4 gearbox oil change Pls guys I really thanks to all of you.

Don't go for it. 22 year old diesal 4x4 maintainance cost is high and old technology diesal engines are not fuel efficient. Rest is your own choice.

Mehmood saab! Oils are not issue in such cars. 22 yrs old diesel machine is not suitable for family use at all.
I hv seen few pajeros of same model that were recomditioned in 2007-8. Go for them if 1990 pajero is ur only option

Is this what you are looking for, this one is with 3000cc V6 Petrol engine, auto transmission, 7 leather seats, front two heated, sunroof, cruise control and some other minor goodies

Well brother as these are out of market SUV's so can't say from where U'll get a good machine
As for as price is concerned I know a guy who had one such pajero & he bought it @ 10 lacs (V6, 3000cc) from lahore
One of PW fellow also bought it in Pesh @ 7 lacs

Please mention what is your choice, DIESEL or PETROL. I have 89 Model 3 door, 2477Cc, my brother with his family has retruned from Naran this morning and Diesel consumption was 11.5 Km/liter (partially with A.C). I was looking for 5 doors aswell.

If you are looking for Patrol Jeep, couple of weeks ago there was one in Samanabad Market Lahore, in Light Golden colour, Lahore registered, Petrol Automatic transmission. His final price was 850000.

This is Generation II Pajero, 1992-98 model, you initially were asking about 1990 model Pajero, which is Generation I
