1994 Toyota Corolla not starting in cold weather

Aoa,
I own a 1994 Toyota Corolla AE-100 (Japanese import) with a genuine 5A-FE engine. Since the weather has changed in Lahore the car is being problematic to start in a cold. The check engine light does not comes on when the engine is attempted to be started in the cold and the engine cranks but fails to start. When the sun comes out and the temperature goes up to around 12°c, the check engine light comes on and the engine starts right up without any problem. Can anyone please help me with this problem? @Xulfiqar

First of all, check battery health, then fuel lines or filter i guess. And your self start.

Also I have seen few people pouring hot water on battery terminals in winters before starting in the morning. Idk if its right to do or not ? expert reviews please.

Battery was replaced 1 month ago.
Fuel lines, filter and self start is in amazing condition.

As said before battery is brand new. Plus Lahore isn't freezing cold​

After sun raise and temp goes up, when you attempt to start, crank response slow or immediate. ?

Aoa, PW's yesterday I got the main EFI relay changed. The car is starting and idling much better now but it isn't tested in extreme cold. Maybe the issue is solved but I am not sure yet. I will update soon when I get a chance to start the engine in extreme cold.

5A-FE engine's tappits cannot be adjusted.
They are auto adjusted.
