As many members know I have a 1998 model corolla of which I also posted an ad for sale but later gave up that idea as i intend to use the car.
I have some questions in my mind.
The car currently has its own 2E 1.3 carby engine purely petrol driven. I am planning for a swap and go for some economical EFi engine suitable for CNG as my daily drive has been increased a lot than before, so I'm left with no other option than to CNG-ify it. I intend to swap the engine because i want a little bit of power as well as the 2E motor gets very underpowered on CNG.
Meanwhile, due to the current loadshedding and raised engine prices, I am thinking of using the 2E motor in a generator. Is it feasible to use this engine in a generator? How much load will it be able to take, as in, how many ACs and other appliances can it run simultaneously?
So valued members and experts, which engine shall I go for in the car which is decently powerful and suitable for CNG as well, and will the using of the original engine in generator be fruitful?
Kindly also tell the costs involved in the above scenarios.
These questions are in my mind since many days so brotherly advice needed from fellow PW members.
Regards.
