1GR High fuel consumption

Salam everyone.

I’m using Hilux SR5 2011 as a daily driver but it is a little heavy on fuel. Currently giving around 5.5km/l with a/c. On average driving around 2000-2500 rpm. Got new spark plugs, air filter, changed fuel filter, oil filter and oil changed to Castrol 10-40 if I remember correctly as its driven around 130,000km. The only thing left is to get the catalytics checked.

Any tips to improve the fuel average would be very helpful.

Its is 4WD but in normal driving as any other SUV 4WD gear is disengaged hence RWD.

But I’ve heard that it easily gives 6-7km/l in Prado and considering its a truck and relatively much lighter i think it should at least give close to that?
