This is the ALDA device compensator with quite an aggressive ramp, the original one can be clocked for a bit more fuelling, but the actual limit is the total fuel the pump can push out.
Before fiddling with this, make sure your injector pump internal body pressure is correct at about 40 psi at idle speed, It ensures a solid and surefooted hydraulic advance of the timing as the pump speeds up.
