With all these rotary swaps around - I benefitted from them Ive got a 13BREW at home complete with transmission and electrics that Im thinking of putting into a Mazda 808 or sell it as Ive got some buyers.

I got this engine dead - and was cheap - rebuilding cost USD1800 in parts/pieces.

as i said rebuilding cost is what make them swap these inline 6 monsters......!!

I dont know when in what century would we pakistanis get out of the streetside mechanic thinking - sirjee yeh fail technology hai - humaray samajh nahin aate isslye fail hai. And our people love to steal a deal rather than pay just for a deal; and proceed to whole heartily believe in that crap. (e.g. they drain away Rs 1000/- worth of coolant to the ground when removing a radiator etc) - rather than save it and put it back once finished.

I wont consider ruining weight dynamics and swinging out of control as nice.

Well Rotary Is A Fail......i Never also said that....but what i said is the rebuilding cost which makes owner to shift to something which they can deal with easily....!!
you talking about rotary...here those people know jack about EFi's......they ruin lots of cars daily from dusk to dawn.....!!

Who says you can buy parts for these JZ series engines - there are none in the new market.

If the demand was there you would see rotary parts too. but I concur with your piece of rebuilding the motor - and would like to add about the owner who does not know of how to "drive" the rotary

Thing Is That People just don't know how to handle stuff...they do what they can easily do and pulling rotary out and throwing inline 6 inn is what they can do easily....!!
as i said......!! people are not familiar with rotary......and talking about rotary... they even don't know WTF that ecu was doing down there and how to tackle is something malfunctioned.....!!
its a long topic to discuss but in short.....!! we just ourselves can't help it ....!!
in your blog you said 1.6L motor in charade...... lolxxx
people also use 2.2L in that too :P.....!! they need something which can fly there arses off no matter what they have to pay..!!

If someone is serious enough...then he will shop for it from foreign building whole block.....!! else....who build..it blows...? throw it buy another

When I usually see such a charade wala swap I say a fateha for the driver in advance - they get pissed off sometimes too. - Sometimes I tell them to recite kalma-e-shahadat before letting out the clutch

I have so many dudes friend with GTXX B16's and H22's
we never ever sit in them and never ever have a ride....!!
One Charade 20v Was totalled and driver was miraculously saved in that....!! the balance rod just broke and you know how much that rod have importance in g100's front suspension....!!
I Like swaps which are more closer to factory spec and can be done w/o messing too much...!!

are you good with electrical wiring? - and how many wiring plugs does your ECU have and whats the toyota part number printed on it. Once we get to that point we can locate a check light

btw does your engine have the diagnosis connector?

it does not have a diagnosis connector I think as i cant find it, i think I need to pay you a visit for help and suggestions

^^ you are right too, Ive seen soooo many swaps done like that its just a sorry state.

btw what happened to the original rotary? - why did you not just get it rebuilt.

I actually just bought the car like this need to fix it up to my standard over time but I sure need some help with it

@xulfiqar.....he might have that diagnosis box maybe..maybe not but who knows its wired or not....!!
The CEL should be wired very 1st.....!! who Knows many of sensors are still left blanked and un-wired....!!

I think that verymay be the case any suggestions what to do next????

try and find which ecu is installed..i mean take the pics of top sticker having part no and what it says....!! and also check how many grips there are...!!
