1jz non turbo in Pajero 2nd gen

Hi,
I have pajero 2nd 3500 petrol. Its engine is in pretty bad condition. I am planning to replace it with toyota 1jz vvti engine non turbo.
Kindly advise will it fit in my hood as it seems to be big in length.
Not getting pajero engine repaired or replaced by same as they are not very durable.
Experts please nees your guidence.

sell your pajero and get a crown or supra or something with jz from factory
why you may ask? because jz were never made for low end torque and you cant offroad with a engine that needs to be revved to torque
so instead of destorying your car if you believe toyota are more reliable get your self a toyota why make a mitsuyota?
