I recently changed assembly of my 2003 corolla X, it had micro T1636 oil filter fitted, at the time of oil change mechanic told me that guard oil filter for corolla was not fitting i searched internet for T1636 replacement and it was 90915 YZZE1 which didn't fit as well. Someone said daihatsu cuore filter will work but it didnt. I used the old filter for time being but i am unable to find the problem. Kindly help from where i can get this filter or its replacement.
IMO, if the engine is 1NZ-FE, then the appropriate oil filter for 1NZ-FE should fit, and such oil filters are available in markets.

Don't 1nz and 2nz us same type of filter
Some of the engines are equipped with larger bore filters try the 90915-yzzd2 oil filter
I hope you found the required filter for your car, but if you haven't, you can get the same filter from "Filter House", they have wide range of Micro oil filters
