2.0D Mileage issue and Mechanic in Isb

Salaam,
I have a 2003 Corolla 2.0D that takes too much load on ac, car feels load while driving and rpm drops. Fuel mileage is around 10 which is extremely low considering people get around 15 with ac. I think the fuel injectors need cleaning and timing fuel adjustment also needs to be fixed

Can you suggest any solution that you have experience with (I can do basic things myself)

Recommend a good mechanic In Islamabad/Rawalpindi

2.0 D does not have fuel injectors. It is diesel engine.

have you checked its basics? 2Cs timing belt requires tightening after 50-60k ish, check it.

nozzles are a part of the diesel injector assembly, in this case its a mechanical fuel injector.

What's average without ac.is fan direct or auto.

The basic thing is to start with checking if the ac system has correct amount of refrgiant or not visit a ac tech who has the proper tools get the pressures checked with comparison to temp a over filled or underfilled filled system will have issues.

please Eloborate when was the ladt time you replaced the Diesel filter or any maintenance done so far. Whats the current mileage on the car. just presuming its a 03 i assume its over 200k on the odo any engine rebuilds or pump jobs or nozzle replacements

Yes exactly we will first test his ac system and after that will test the engine compression. And will stepwise proceed to his problem.

Ac pressures compression injection timing valve clearance ( finding new shims is a pain) nozzle break pressure. a million pieces of the same puzzle

Diesels are simple yet if you go to a ustaad with 200 years of experience and no proper tools is asking to be punched in the face.

the simpliest thing to do is switch fuel pumps see if the mileage increases. i used to use shell panj sarki and used to get 600 to a tank easy and i dont drive at 60 . last couple of refuels were done from Pso and the worst average so far. similar experiences shared by some other fellow 2d owners. so switch to a different pump preferable is a total pump or go to shell panjsarki.

Kindly Please share the Mileage of the Engine. was it overhauled. when was the last mileage interval at which u replaced the Diesel filter. what grade oil are you using. Any ustaad Interaction so far. were the nozzles serviced if yes at what interval? So hopefully a general baseline can be established

Oil changed just a week ago with oil filter, for oil i was using Delo Gold but last time due to some emergency I had to use total diesel oil which surprisingly increased my mileage .
ODO is around 200k never overhauled, ac compressor was repaired due to a fault. Mileage that I am getting is around 10.5 with ac after changing a faulty wheel bearing and changing oil, before this mileage was 8.2 with ac
