I have also noticed people asking insane prices for used car and there is also no concept of depreciation, people are often asking the same price they brought if for or more for the car's they used for an year or so anyways i am also stuck in same dilemma altis or BR-V still researching and i think i might go for BR-V as being from northern region step roads and semi offloading is everyday thing for us. The only thing concerns me is resale and being under-powered.

It's not that underpowered brother, it has almost the same power output as an altis , although there is a little difference bt the brv is lighter than altis so it equates to similiar power.

Brother After Lot of suggestions and Expert opinion I have booked Altis 1.6 last month
Expected delivery is November.
I have talked to corrola owners and they told me Ground clearance is no issue till Hunza-Sost-Khunjerab via Babusar

i have bought a 2018 brv vtec s from showroom. is it better than the corolla i would say yes because of space. in regards to luxury id say it the same as the any corolla other than the grande.

the price is fair compared to the other suv out there. to get something like this your looking at 35 lac plus so for 10 lac discount i think its great as its value will increase as people go towards brv.

id advise going for manual if you dont mind it as you can add alloys, navigation etc later. other than great nearly a year now done 9000 miles no issues
