2.7L petrol vs 2.8 L diesel (prado 2019 / 2020 version)

I am planning to buy Prado 2019 or 2020 TXL model. please guide 2.7L Petrol is better or 2.8L diesel is better in terms of fuel mileage, maintenance, engine life & drive.

2.8 is better in all aspects , power & economy.
I had a 21 facelift fortuner sigma with 1GD engine it had great power and fuel economy , Changed it to a 2016 Prado TX only because of better ride comfort . With the 2.7 prado I'm getting way worse power and fuel economy
A prado 2.8 with 1GD engine gets the best of both worlds awesome power and great comfort.

Do please check if the 2.8 is the revised engine which increased both in HP and Torque. I think it happened in 2020 and onwards engines, or was it 2021?
